Founder & CEO
A native Bay area transplant, Robin has lived here in Sacramento for over 20 years. Serving the community including 12 years as the Compassion365 coordinator.
Recently she was moved to start her own non-profit to continue the good work. Her credentials include a degree in Early Childhood Education, Texas A&M certificate in Life coaching and her most important role, a spirit Led Mom and wife.
Irene"The Negotiator" Sotelo
Project consultant/co-manager
Irene has been associated with banking and has owned and operated a daycare for over 10 years.
She has served with Compassion Ministries over 10 years and is currently co-project managing the Safe Harbor project. She hails from San Jose. Irene's family and faith always take the lead in her life.
Carol"The Light" Johnson
Creative Collaborator
Bay Area born and raised, Carol's creativity shines through to inspire her students . As a teacher in Berkeley, utilizing her Masters in Special Education, this powerhouse is fun loving, full of ideas and a joy to have on our team. A woman of many hats, her career is second place to her love of family and adventure.
Nick"McGuyver"Shelley
Site Specialists
Armed with the four agreements and a heart of gold, there is nothing Nick cannot figure out. Nick and his helper Greg have spent many hours preparing Safe Harbor to receive it's first families. He wears many hats from site manager to project planner to plumber. When he and his wife Teri first heard the vision they were eager to volunteer. Nick is a cornerstone to the Safe Harbor project.
Dave"The Deacon"Cota
Site Specialists
Electrified with the fruits of the spirit. Dave is another cornerstone on this project. He is an inspiration to us all. We don't start a job without prayer. The consultation he offers is priceless. It is impossible to introduce Dave without a shout out to his wife, Carol Cota. Dave paces the project and like Nick, keeps us moving forward.

Advocates for the greater good
There is a war going on for the children in the our communities. Two cornerstones, Pastor Greg Jefferson and his wife, Twin Rivers Trustee Christine Jefferson are in the trenches daily. Lead by the holy spirit, their weapon is love.
Chris recently formed, The Christine Jefferson Children's Foundation and they adopted Safe Harbor as their heart project. Lifting up one another as we
help our community move forward. Grateful for them.
Rosario "Green Thumb" Arias
Site Consultant & Advocate
A Sacramento resident for over 60 Years. In search of help for her own special child, she quickly gained knowledge to help herself and others. Rose soon became a union advocate for SEIU as a liaison for Spanish speaking employees. She is a committed wife, mother and deeply devoted to her faith. Neighbors are thankful when she shares the bounty of her summer gardens .
